Kabbage is blazing a trail in big data and fintech, and we are looking for a DevOps Engineer Intern in the summer of 2019 (June 3 – August 2) to join the Kabbage team as we continue our amazing growth trajectory.

Your mission:

Participate in creating, developing & managing the deployment architecture for applications and platforms at Kabbage.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain automation that powers our cloud based product deployments and auto-scaling.
  • Troubleshoot issues identified by monitoring and alerting metrics.
  • Implement monitoring, dashboards, escalations, and alerts.
  • Participate in development of new technologies that will shape continuous integration and testing.
  • Perform and automate system administration services including installation, configuration, maintenance, and disaster recovery.

    What you should have:

    • Eligibility: Juniors and Seniors in undergraduate programs, graduate students, and postgraduate students are welcome to apply.
    • Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field of study.
    • Familiar with at least one programming or scripting language (Bash, Powershell, Python, Perl, Ruby).
    • Understanding of Linux and Windows.
    • Any experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
    • Basic understanding of general networking concepts.
